God’s Heart for the Nations

“Declare His glory among the nations!”
Psalm 96:3

The whole earth is full of God’s glory. Creation all around declares it (Psalm 8, 19, 29, 33, 65, 104). But the eyes of so many people in the world are shut. They can’t see His glory. There are 6.5 billion people in the world today and only 2.1 billion of them are Christians. That leaves 4.3 billion non-believers in the world. Of those 4.3 billion non-believers, 2.1 billion of them have never even heard of God . . . they are considered unreached people. “Unreached people” describes those who have no feasible access to the gospel. Not only have they not come to Christ, they have not even been evangelized.

“How, then, can they call on the One they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the One of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?”
