Abby's Story
I had really fallen away from the Lord during college. It had become more than just a lifestyle for me because my beliefs and thoughts of the Lord were slowly changing to untruth. It was through a friendship of mine at the Wesley Foundation that the Lord began to draw me back to Him. Through vulnerability and acceptance and love and a complete lack of judgement the Lord used this friend to show me that I was still loved and that He was not letting go of me. Over the course of 6 months the Lord rocked my world and gave me a home and a safe place and the Wesley Foundation to heal and fall in love with who He had made me to be. I am now in my second year of interning for Wesley and falling more in love with Jesus everyday. I thank God everyday for this place and how He used it to change my life and save me from my self-destruction!

Holly's Story
I came to UGA as a transfer student in 2005. One of my friends that was already up here told me about Wesley and invited me to go with her-I've been involved ever since :) Wesley is more than a campus ministry to me. Its my home and the people that make up Wesley are my family. Its where I first learned about discipleship, servanthood, honor, and the goodness of God. It was here that I was loved and cared for throughout the hardest time in my life. I was looked after, protected, comforted, challenged, taught, respected and empowered. And I still am today. God, my awesome Dad and faithful Friend, loves me, likes me, speaks to me, and uses me to reveal Himself to others. He has used Wesley, my family and my home, to reveal not only who He is but, who He says that I am. And now I get to spend the rest of my life loving others because He first loved me!

Jennifer's Story
Through Wesley, the Lord has just given me His heart. Through leadership, He encouraged me to persue Him and go after His power. Through interning, He's encouraging me into deeper intimacy and walking in the power and authortity He has given me as a leader. He has shown me that He loves me more than I know, helped me hear His voice, called me to continue persuing His voice, and He has healed my heart in ways that I never would have imagined. He has also loved me through the most amazing people I have ever met in my life.

Autumn's Story
If there is any place that has been my home spiritually, it's Athens. Wesley is the place where I became captivated by the person of Jesus and overwhelmed by His voice. It was only after attending Wesley that I heard the first personal promises the Lord had been speaking over me. Wesley is a culture where people are zealous to speak destiny over you, zealous for you to know what He thinks about you, and that has truly changed my life. The way the Wesley body hungers after His presence has transformed my understanding of what it means to know Him and make Him known. Autumn ThomasonMinistry Intern

Sandy's Story
I grew up in the church and understoof who Jesus was at a young age. But it wasn't until I began going to Wesley as a college freshman in 2006 that I understood who Jesus is. I attended Wesley all 4 years of college, beginning with Freshley and moving up to 3 years on leadership. Through Wesley, the Lord taught me many things: the power of the Holy Spirit, the meaning of the body, and the abundance of His love. Wesley gave me a community of believers who love, listen, and pray for me with genuine hearts. It has been a beautiful thing to be a part of
