Christ-centered, Biblically-based and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we at the Wesley Foundation are committed to raising up a new generation of Christian leaders. We are dedicated to winning the lost to Christ, training believers to be disciples and equipping disciples to become disciple-makers.
Who we are…
We are a campus ministry committed to worshiping God and seeking His Kingdom here in Athens. At our foundation, we believe from The Word of God that Jesus Christ loves every student on the campus and that He proved His love by making relationship with God available through His death on the cross. We love students because He first loved us. Moreover, Jesus desires that every student would believe in Him and receive the ultimate gift of grace - salvation. Thus, we seek to share the love of Christ in order to see students come into authentic relationship with their Creator.
In addition, we desire to see Christian students fulfill their primary calling and become Christ-like. Small groups and discipleship are the two fundamental avenues that we believe lead students toward that goal. We offer students the opportunity to participate and give leadership in one of our fifteen different ministry areas. Finally, all of our efforts in ministry are under girded by passionate, persistent prayer and solidified in genuine community.
